Welcome to the Resource Bank for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The Resource Bank is an integrated service providing staff to the following areas:
- Nursing
- Medical
- Facilities
- Community Based Services
- Dietetics
- Audiology
- Clerical
The Resource Bank cover an average of 200 shifts a day. Please make an appointment before you attend the Bank offices.

There are multiple opportunities in various areas throughout Community Wards, Scheduled & Unscheduled Care Divisions, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities in all Hospital sites/Locations throughout the University Health Board (covering South East Wales).
We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so you will need to have the flexibility to undertake shifts including nights and weekend working.

WHAT IS AN AD-HOC LOCUM?
An Ad-Hoc Locum is a Doctor who wishes to cover shifts on an ad-hoc basis. However before commencing as an ad-hoc locum, you will need to apply via Patchwork and complete pre-employment checks.
What to do if you want to want to join as an Ad-Hoc Locum?
You will need to apply via Patchwork App. Once applied, Medical Recruitment will receive notification of you application and will send you the documents which need to be completed and cleared prior to undertaking any ad-hoc shifts.
